WebApr 10, 2007 · All the gear oil they had were Royal Purple, NAPA, Valvoline (convential) and Synpower. They also had CRC sta lube, but it was a synthetic, not sure if it was GL-4 rated. All of the oils were rated for GL-5. One was rated for GL-3, GL-4, GL-5. NAPA man assured me that this one (Valvoline) brand would be OK. WebAug 18, 2024 · Trans takes GL4 rated oil, don't use a GL5.
